AKC Canine Ambassador

Misty Woods Brantley Coal THDN, TKI, CGCA, CGCU is our clubs AKC Canine Ambassador, he visits elementary schools and assists with training children how to approach dogs safely. The curriculum we use is provided by AKC. The children enjoy having him visit and learn a lot about dog safety. The program also offers a module on How to care for dogs, which is a part 2 to the curriculum we are currently presenting. We plan on doing that module next summer. There are 10 elementary schools in the district I work in, he will visit 3 this summer.
